What are my options for my life?

I am 18 and graduated high school about a year ago. After that I worked full time from september to december at my retail job where I was pretty much miserable so I was in the frame of mind that anything would be better than that. I went to the local university for general science because I enjoy science but I only did it to escape working my full time job. Because of that I knew that it wasn't going to lead anywhere and that I didn't want to put all my time and money into 4 years of that. So that semester ended and I am being forced to go back to full time at that horrible retail job. I have been looking into labourer jobs in the area and applied for a few with the county and the city but so far no call backs yet. I feel as though I would really like to do something more exciting instead of the 'get up, go to work/school, come home, watch tv, go to bed, repeat' lifestlye that I have been doing since I graduated. After my failed university experience I am alot more apprehensive in jumping straight into a post secondary program for fear that I will end up hating it and wasting more of my time and money. More than anything I am so done with working retail. Are there any options that I am not seeing or have not heard of? Thanks in advance.

Having bandwidth issues on xbox?

I'm not really sure how to phrase this since I am not the biggest tech guy but recently I have been having issues with my bandwidth on xbox. I am having issues not lagging in games and it only recently started to happen, I checked and even though I have three computers running on the same connection as my xbox I never had issues before, but to make sure it wasn't the issue i unplugged all computers from the router turned off the wireless connection and plugged my xbox directly into the router and I am still having issues with bandwidth, ( so both the wireless connection and my wired connection for xbox is having issues). So what it boils down to is could port forwarding for my xbox increase bandwidth and if not do you have any ideas cause I have even tried changing the broadcast channel for my router in-case another router was interfering with connection. Hi, my question is about dream interpretation. I realised that my dreams do indicate to future events when I was 20, now Im 27 and I am able to understand some of my dreams but not all. For the last couple years I keep seeing Cemetery in my dream, although I never think about them during day time. I stopped seing them for a while and they came back to me again. Do they indicate to the loss of a close relative? Because more than a year ago I lost two of my uncles. Ok So im 15 ,I got a little brother who is 13 and my dad a.When we were young my mom left us to go to a foreign country for work, she never came back for the first 3 months of her going she used to ring every weekend and told us she loved us and can't wait to come home ,but when the weekend calls stopped and no money to feed us or to pay her role as a mom came in something was up .Dad rang night upon night, sent endless letters to her, and after 6 months of confusion she replied and 'met' some one else she was gone for about 6 months we couldn't visit her we hadn't the money, and dad knew something was up and i remember me and my brother being so excited to get a letter in the door from her because we thought she was coming back and it wouldn't be long before she was back to be with us .This happened about 8 years ago.i was 7 it think at the time i can remember parts of it even tho it was kind of long ago.She hurt dad so much at the time it hurt me too ,because i could never see such things happen in my life as painful as that it was my mom the person who should always be there for us .Dad then got depression for a few years i never knew as i was a child then but now i understand.He never dated ,never trusted women and never went out instead he worked slept and cooked for most the 4 years he has been the most amazing father .Luckily four years ago he met the second love of his life.There was a 10 year age gap between them but it dosen't matter,usually stepmothers were seen as the wicked women of the house but i could tell she wasn't. I was offered a job as a "local class b driver" The job was more laborer, removing, installing, set up, dock work, loading and unloading appliances. I worked 2 days then decided the job was not for me. I drive a cement truck and here in ohio, I do not work from december to around march. First, the job was only about 10% driving, and $2.50 less an hour than I make. I know in ohio that you must look for work in your field and the work must be at least paying what you make or more. She was overly-possessive, when I miss a phone call she'll be mad. I had alot on my plate and I just needed a little space or break. � Overtime, the relationship became a co-dependent one, we became obsessive over each other and it was becoming very unhealthy. Question on old toyota camry alternator?

I have an 88camry. the alternator recently pooped on me. as it was going, when I would put in in gear, or turn on the AC, the engine would slow down to such a slow idle it would almost die, then it did die. they told me that this is because it was drawing on the alternator and the alternator just didn't have enough oomph to keep the car going. so I got a new alternator. first few weeks it ran great, but now,whenever I put it in gear, it runs very , very slowly,the RPM's are like 300, barely enough to keep it running. and this is without the AC on. it acts like it's about to die at any second, just like it did before replacing the alternator. but you would think that the mechanic would have tested the entire system to see if it was something else. also it has had a recent tune up with new plugs and wires and rotor, etc. it's a fuel injected car. can anything else be going on here? the car does have 235,000 miles on it and usually runs so quiet it's like an electric car, it just purrs, but now it acts like it want's to die again when you put it in gear, and it did actually die once while in gear. the RPMS are sooo low, just barely enough to keep it running while in gear.

Headlights dim, not assembly?

headlight assemblies are all good. I have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. New bulbs as well. Looked at the wire gauges and my fog light wires are thicker than my headlight wires, possibility? The bulb connection looks clean, no dirt, I'm not sure if it could be bad anyways? Checked battery output which is normal with car on, off and with my headlights on so I'm assuming battery and alternator are fine. My car amp is very soft... any ideas?

I bought a second hand amplifier... 1500w Star Sound. I hooked it up to my car 2 days ago. I hooked up a different amp a couple years back so I know I did it right. The power lead is hooked up to the battery with a fuse attached. Remote wire is hooked up to the front loader as well as the RC cables. I mounted the ground wire to a metal bracket the connects onto the back seat. I sanded down so all the paints off and its pure metal...Now I plug everything in and it works fine at low volume. I turn the gain on the amp to full and it starts distorting... I turn the volume on the frontloader to max and its still really soft and still distorts... I can describe it as this.... at low volume it sounds perfect. Clear sound, nice bass etc. once i turn it louder on either the front loader or the amp it distorts and stays at same volume. The sub woofer is fine because I used it up until 2 days ago to put it in the car. Now I don't know what the problem could be... if anyone has any suggestions please help me. Amp is still under guarantee but I don't want to take it back and they test it and it works fine. The wiring kit I used is brand new. 4Gauge power cable and all.

Why when i wire my rocker switch the led light will come on and the leds wont?

I recently installed led lights in my car with a three pronged toggle switch. I thought i set everything up right, Ground going to anything metal or neg terminal, red and positive wires going to the positive peg of the battery and the two black wires going to the acc input on the switch. I turned on my rocker switch and the led light went on on the rocker switch but my neon lights did not. Then i flipped the switch and my neon lights turned on but the led indicator didnt. please help!

First day with full braces and already broke two brackets?

If you know what reserve/guard unit you are in just go to them, they have full time people there and explain the situation the the personal sgt or training NCO. They usually work from like 8-5 mon-fri... Usually what happens is when you complete basic and ait you report to your unit like within 30 days to let them know you are home and when the next drill is.. If for some reason you went to drill with another unit not sure why? I am just retired after 25years AGR/Army Senior PER SGT and we just don't discharge someone that easy for not coming to drill. Letters have to be sent out, like 3 or 4 if not more and then a letter from the CO saying your are being discharged. Most CO's in the reserves will work with you, obviously your recruiter is a dumb-*** and didn't take care of you.. SO what you need to do it look at your contract see what unit you really belong too and go seek them out like today this week and tell them the situation. If they are deployed there will be someone in the building that you can talk too or report too. If they are deployed they is always a rear detachment always... Now about the job situation, when you go back to drill you should go to college with the GI Bill, go on usajobs, craigslist or walk around your neighborhood and try and get a job. Ask your parents for help. Don't let some little dumb-*** girl ruin your life, move on SOLDIER.. Start your life.. Is there a way to repair my ac adapter?

Input is 120v, Output is 9v. Someone was running across the room and snapped the cord in half. I could probably strip the plastic insulation and twist the wires back together. It snapped close to where the "black box" is. The black box part plugs directly into the wall. I was trying to strip the plastic part off, when I saw a spark when I exposed the wires. So I'm assuming there is still a charge inside the "black box". So, I left it alone. Is this not a safe thing to do? Should I assume there is still a lot of electricity inside of it? Furnace Control Board keeps blowing fuses.?

The coil of the contactor for the outdoor condensing unit is energized by the control voltage. Control voltage is induced by the transformer. Both primary and secondary power are connected to the control board at the appropriate terminals. The 24 volts of control voltage go away from the board from the terminal "R". A red wire from a bundle is used and the other end goes to the thermostat. From the thermostat, the 24 volts continues from the terminal "Y" along the yellow wire back to control board's terminal "Y". A second yellow then carries the 24 volts outside to the coil of the contactor. Another wire must then return from the common side of the contactor's coil to the common terminal "C" on the control board. The coil of the contactor should show a measurable resistance, typically around 17 to 24 ohms of resistance and would then be considered good. If it showed a really low resistance like .8 or under, it would be indicating a shorted coil on the contactors. The shorted winding of the contactor coil will allow an uncontrolled flow of current. If that flow is provided by the transformer, the windings of the transformer will overheat and burn out. It's called "letting the smoke out". The fuse protects the transformer from letting it's smoke out. Sounds like the coil is shorted on the contactor. Easy replacement of the contactor. Takes about 30 minutes.

Confused about this odd situation with my dad?

Ok, I have an unusual problem with my dad. I'm a 19 year old guy, and my dad still treats me as if I were a little kid. I don't mean as in the way of over protection, but like he has babyish nicknames for me, makes silly faces and sounds and stares at me while doing them to the point where it's extremely awkward. I do have normal conversation with him (not too deep a relationship though), where he does talk normal. But unexpectedly, he'll start again talking to me as if I was a baby, and he stares at me in a way in which he expects me to giggle back like a toddler. If I make an annoyed face, he gets angry and thinks I don't love him, and says he loves to make jokes like that. Cat had a panic attack?

About an hour ago, my cat was quietly sitting in his bed but suddenly got up and began frantically running around the house and licking his chest and front paws. I have 3 yellow bellied slider turtles for over 7 years. I fed them yesterday and when I went to check on them this afternoon. One of them was dead. Why don't engineers have protected titles like MD's (doctors do)?

If you call yourself a doctor, you could see many years behind bars. But any average joe can call themselves an engineer. It must be frustrating for real engineers whenever they tell people they are an engineer but are thought of as some mechanic or electrician.

Hooked up car cd player and it doesnt work.?

So I bought a new cd player and when I took out my old the wire plugin didn't match my new one. So I looked at each set of wires and I cut off the old plugin. I grounded the black wire with the metal piece to a screw inside my dash. Then I split the same wires of each set and twisted them together and then used electrical tape to cover them. There were some extra cords but I had no where to hook them up so I wrapped them up so they wouldn't just be open inside of the dash. I then plugged in the power (or antenna) not sure which one it was but it fit my new cd player as well. I then put my dash back together and screw in and plug back in everything I had messed with in order to get to my cd player. I turn my car on to see if my cd player works and I here it make a noise (the cd player itself) but it didn't come on. No lights, no sound, nothing. What did I do wrong? How do I make it work??

Period at my aunt's house? please help?

I'm spending the night at my aunt's house tonight. I unexpectedly started my period and I had an accident :( I was taking a nap, and when I woke up, I had started. It leaked through my panties and on to my pj pants but none got on the sheets (thank god). I don't have any pads. I've been using toilet paper for the last hour, but it's getting heavy. I looked under the sink in my aunt's bathroom, but all I could find were super plus tampons, and those are way too big. I tried to use one, and I couldn't even get it in. It hurt too much. The applicator was huuge :( I really don't even like tampons that much. I've only had my period for 10 months, and I really only use a tampon if I'm going swimming or dance or volleyball. I love my auntie, but I am feeling very embarrassed. How could I ask her to take me to the store to get some pads and to help me wash the blood out of my clothes? Many Feminists claim women have been oppressed by men and Feminism stands for equality for both sexes.I respect that. Is my security camera going bad or is someone distorting it?

I have a home security camera system. It is wired, weather proof, and has night vision. The wiring is mounted along the side of my home and I made sure to set it in the camera's view so there is no way for anyone to tamper with it without being caught on camera. My question is... is it possible for someone to distort or cause an interference with my camera from a distance and without being near the camera's wiring? My camera has been showing some interference, but this only happens at night and I have been having a lot of problems with my next door neighbor which is why I installed the cameras to begin with. If she is very new she is simply asserting herself. In a pack, when the dominent leave the meal, the subordinates are allowed to eat, so she needs to know you still claim the meal. When your finished create her meal. I use carrots, and they are fed only from their bowls. They know th ritual, and don't dare steal my food. I also feed them their two meals after ours. Breakfast and dinner. Never before, and never scraps off the table.
